      Pros

      I make my own schedule according to the assigned jobs start/end dates I don't have employer hovering over me (as long as adhere to jobs duties and guidelines) I'm not stuck in one place Compensation for drive time, mileage, meetimg job metrics and/or helping others to complete jobs. Most interaction with other employees, leads and managers is done through email.

      Pros

      The compensation is not bad at all. It takes time to build speed and know your stores/assignments. This is a good job for those who need flexibility (covid has complicated this some but most stores have extended their hours again). Travel opportunities.

      Cons

      Can be stressful. Not always easy to balance home life especially for single parent households.

      Pros

      As a wife and mother who takes care of 2 kids, as well as helps my husband with his own business, I greatly appreciate the flexibility that RD provides. I am able to set my own hours and work at my own pace in the time frames allotted to get individual jobs done.

      Cons

      Given that I became employed by RD during the Covid pandemic, I wasn't always able to be properly trained at the beginning, due to us not being able to meet in person. Also with the fact that you don't actually work side by side with anyone ever, I tend to feel like a nuisance to my LDC or DM if I'm having issues or have a question.
