Pros

-There is nothing you can do here that can't also be done remotely -Kind of flexible work hours -Benefits are okay -If you prove you are vaguely competent, you get left alone for the most part -If you are a useless white guy, you will get promoted. But you have to be both. They do not promote anyone who can do large amounts of work efficiently.

Cons

-Pay is about 1/3 of what any other Data Analyst in Richmond is getting -the data collectors are ABUSED with low pay so they do a bad job.... and management wants us to complain at them to do better? Pay them better first. -No communication between departments -Oooh boy, get ready for quarterly meetings where you have to sit and watch upper pat themselves on the back for a few hours. -HR is a joke, they are not there for employees, just to protect money -Did I mention you get paid like garbage? You will also be worked to death. -If you are competent, they will work you ragged until you quit. -You will not get promoted. -Raises are in the cents, not dollars. -This place will do everything they can to screw you out of as much money as possible

Pros

Your work hours can be flexible, with minimum oversight from management

Cons

Despite asking for your availability, you're expected to be available for them 7 days/week, management can be iffy in responding to issues, piece-rate pay can end up meaning ~minimum wage for a lot of work.

Pros

Always had a due date on the same date, work anytime you feel like, so for college students

Cons

Starting pay is $15 per hour for only a month or so then it is by number of items that you scan which to me was half of $15 per hour

Thank you for your review. We do make sure that we follow all state guidelines and are in compliance with meeting minimum wage requirements for every state. Once a Data Collector moves to piece rate, they are paid based on the number of items they scan. With our graduated piece rate program, that helps the Data Collector to pick up their speed and they should be able to scan quicker within their first 60 days. We would be happy to explain this process more in detail to you if you would like to contact us at - humanresourcesadmin@retaildatallc.com.
