Pros

Flexible schedule. Minimal Supervision. Good management and support.

Cons

Work is unreliable. Some weeks are busy some are slow so no consistency in earnings as their business grows here in Canada. No benefits, on very part-time at the moment.

Pros

benefits available, somewhat flex hours

Cons

NO pay raises. consistent pay reductions to "better the business," little respect for data collectors in the field. Auditors not permitted to call or email office personnel/account managers directly; Mileage reimbursement does not cover gas price, usage, insurance and repair. New mileage reimbursement "tool" being implemented Company answered no questions and made no explanation before implementing. "Lapel" auditors are requested to sneak into retail stores to obtain pricing for their competitors, Upon which, if the auditor is "caught", they are embarrassed by that store's management, and then auditor is chastised by their supervisor and retail data for not being able to obtain the pricing because they got caught. Breakdown of communication between office and collectors. Would not recommend working here to friends.

Pros

The ability to set my own hours within the parameters of target deadlines is so helpful, thereby allowing me to balance home responsibilities with the job. There is always extra work available if one wants or needs it. I really appreciate the independent nature of the job as I enjoy working alone.

Cons

The job itself is very tedious and repetitive. You need to pick and choose carefully the times to complete assignments so as not to interfere with customers in the stores. The equipment can be clumsy and is very sensitive to external stimuli.
