Pros

Flexible schedules, automated pay system keeps track of time and work. Can work as much as you wish in many area's or travel to more areas.

Cons

Speed is valued too much over quality. Pay needs to be figured out better--strictly piecemeal is not the best. Some small jobs may take more time traveling, which may not be compensated for if less than 15 miles away from home, than at the location. This actually causes one to make only half of minimum wage when you factor in travel time!

Pros

Working at your own pace, seeing the different products and prices in the store. It's not rocket science but you have to disciplined and creative to be productive and make more than $10 an hour. You'd better be a fast learner because you're going to be on your own most of the time and your "training" will be minimal.

Cons

Where to start? You must work every Sunday including holidays with no extra pay. You receive .14 per item you look up and the items are scattered throughout the store. In my 8 months with the company, I'm on my third manager and went for 2 months without one at all. They go thru employees like water. One person they hired last week lasted one whole day. They do not care about their existing employees. If I had a problem or question about the job, I would email my manager and usually get an email back that they are not responding to emails as they are in meetings or in the field training. When I first started, the pay was great, I had a good manager and he made it worthwhile. You will have to work at Walmart on their busiest day, Sunday, when the stock is at the lowest. You will be expected to search and find items that no Walmart carries and the list is never updated. Your success in collecting is dependent solely on how well your Walmart is operated. Why did I stay so long? Can't fix stupid I guess. Kept hoping things would improve.
