Pros

Freedom to schedule appointments, showings, meetings at times most convenient to agent and client. No mandatory meetings.

Cons

No lucrative leads provided by the company. No reimbursement for the expenses involved in doing business. Agent responsible for all aspects of running his/her business. At times very challenging to get buyers qualified for financing with reputable lenders.

Pros

Manager provides training and guidance through internship period. A lots of work completed in Excel, which is great as for student to improve your skills. Performing various trend analysis and investment forecasts. Tons of data, so requires strong focus.

Cons

Small office and no cubicles, direct exposure. Somewhat boring tasks and routine manual data entry.
