Pros

The best known brand. Unfortunately, the badge is all you get for paying the highest fees in the market.

Cons

10 years in Re/Max, paying highest fees, just for wearing Re/Max badge. Not worth the money. Poor support, terrible atmosphere between coleagues, slow admin, no legal support.

Pros

Good group of people with which to work. Management responsive to questions and your needs. Wages competitive with similar jobs.

Cons

You work with independent contractors, they can be demanding and finicky. Your future is dependent on economy and housing market.

Pros

Good network and marketing materials provided and the commission split is quite good. It is a rewarding industry and brokers will support you to make sure you are closing deals.

Cons

Competitive environment and very sales oriented. You pay a lot for Re/Max brand when it just about the same as any other real estate company.
