Great potential killed by bad leadership

So much potential to change the dynamics of physical business and commercial real estate! REEF had the funding and scale to have tremendous impact.

Cons

Absolutely amateurish leadership that could never stay focused on a long term vision long enough to make any meaningful progress. Torched all their funding on bloated operations rather than building the tech that would actually make the idea work! No attention paid to employee's needs and zero room for career advancement. Comp was below market rate.

Creative idea with strong backers. Some excellent EVP/VP type leaders.

Cons

Very tough place to work. Demands from leadership can be absurd and more often than not, it feels like a ship without a captain. Direction from the top is needed as everyone is running in different directions. Compensation is laughable. They know it and haven't done anything about it in years. Not even discussing layoffs, the company is hemorrhaging strong talent.
