Pros
Lower-level employees are collaborative and hard working
Cons
I joined this "growing" startup in May 2021 and I saw the warning signs almost immediately after I joined. Within the first few weeks, I tried reaching out to HR for a few admin questions regarding pay/equity/benefits but couldn't find someone to answer my question. I wasn't getting passed around by people who didn't know how to answer my questions, I literally could not find someone in HR that was currently still employed by the company. Every message was "he/she has left the company" or "he/she is on their final week". If HR people are running to leave the company, that might be a sign.... Second, top-level executive leadership is so disconnected from their product and people that they don't truly understand what is needed to make this business work from an operational standpoint. Leadership believes if you "push harder", "hustle harder", and show "grit" that things will magically happen. They never provide how things can or should be done, they just expect them to happen. Also, many execs have left (or fired) over the last 6-months, another bad sign that people do not want to work at the company. Lastly, the ratings that are 5-star on this page are all bots or, in my opinion, fake entries by others. I believe everyone that has worked for the company shares the same two points above, poor HR/Exec Leadership and constant employee churn. Who rates a company 5-stars when you cant speak to HR, leadership is disconnected, and people are leaving or being laid off by the hundreds. Taking a position at REEF has been one of the worst decisions of my career due to the toxic company culture and unlawful business practices that it engages in. If you take anything from this post, please do yourself a favor and do not work at this company... even if you are currently unemployed, it's not worth it! And you will most likely be resuming your career search 8-10 months later!
