Pros

Flexible work schedules. Good people at many levels and many smart hard working people.

Cons

Upper management has a view that everything positive is accomplished by them. Support staff does not get nearly the credit they deserve for any successes.

Pros

Salary. My previous manager was great, I trusted him, but he left when he saw the direction our team was given. Very Smart Man.

Cons

The workload is very bad, you can expect to work well over 40 hours a week, every week. I had a year long project that literally consumed almost every weekend of the year in addition to working during the week and evenings. Current upper IT management is non-technical and is clueless as to how difficult and time-consuming it actually is to replace/install security networking hardware into an existing production environment. They got rid of two groups of experienced employees to replace them with "contractors".

outsourcing is their new strategy; they dont put people and ethical values on their list of priorities
