Pros

I've been at the company for close to 20 years, and they have been very good to me. I am loyal to RETTEW because they have given me the opportunity to grow in my career to the point where I created a senior-level position that had never existed before. Now I am managing people, and I have seen employees leave RETTEW thinking things were better somewhere else, only to find they are not. We have many boomerang employees who come back after searching elsewhere for a good company to work for. I also enjoy a flexible work schedule, and the CEO knows my kids' names. It's a great company, still loyal to its roots and the values upon which it was founded.

Cons

Depending on what office you are in, employee morale and culture vary. Some people can be negative overall and infect other staff. Some offices encourage you to do things together outside the office. Others stick to their desks.

Pros

I have been with RETTEW for over 12 years, serving in a variety of roles and responsibilities in multiple offices and Service areas. I have had the opportunity to learn and grow my technical and professional skills through a variety of mentors each providing a different perspective that helped me develop my own managerial style. RETTEW rewards the ambitious who are willing to step outside of their comfort zone and learn new skills. Recently, they have moved to a 100% ESOP firm, further proving their commitment to their employees.

Cons

As with most companies, workload can ebb and flow. While it is currently being rolled out, a more robust cross training program would help retain staff during specific downturns while increasing their skill sets.
