Struggling to Change with Negative Employee Mindset

Pros

Lots of opportunity to make a difference and stand out. Good benefits. Good corporate management. Youthful corporate leaders willing to learn and utilize up to date methodologies.

Cons

Structure of individual business units is not commonized. Titles, roles, and responsibilities within engineering does not follow industry standards. It is also borderline against state rules and regulations. Engineers are used as drafters. They are stuck on a assembly line of sorts just churning out production drawings every day with no allowance to actually use their skills to solve problems or learn. There are engineers that have never set foot in production to observe the process.
