Thank you for the review! It is pretty difficult to compare our PTO and benefits to some of our Multi-national OEMs just due to their sheer size, but we feel since RFA is a much smaller company working for us results in more flexibility, and less net stress in a career.

Pros

There were a lot of really cool projects to work on at this location. The salary was pretty good for the area too, and some positions allowed for a lot of overtime. (I would say, for those working around 40 hours a week, you'd make close to but slightly less than their counterparts directly employed by John Deere. However, some people whose roles allowed them to work a lot of overtime were making more than their John Deere "direct" counterparts. Hours worked overtime can also be converted into time off, which can be really attractive for some people.

Cons

The benefits are a bit weak. That being said, starting at RFA and then becoming a John Deere direct hire after about 2 years was a common route for people who wanted better benefits, and is a lot easier than jumping through the John Deere HR system hoops from outside.

Thank you for your review! I appreciate you pointing out that we do pay a bonus (in time or cash) for time worked above the standard 40 hours for which FT salaries are based. It can really be a game changer! While we never like to see anyone go, we do recognize that we can be a very reasonable conduit for getting hired direct to our customers. Unlike some of our competitors, we will never make anyone sign a document limiting their ability to get hired direct.
