The Transition Never Ends!

RINA purchased this small private company about two years ago. They are in the midst of transitioning us to their way of doing things. Organizational learning is a huge part of their culture. They are passionate about what they do.

Cons

It is quite the leap to go from a small privately-held company to a multi-national organization with a home office in Italy. Everything takes longer - approvals for everything must go up through the chain of command to Italy and back down to the U.S. The cultural shifts are enormous and not sure that they understand our ways of doing things. Communication gaps continue to exist all along the way. We have lost a lot of employees due to this extended transition - many are just exhausted due to never-ending changes, including me.

The only pro is a reliable paycheck.

Cons

Toxic environment. Lack of transparency. Huge knowledge gaps. Constantly changing BD revenue goals. High pressure to get work in but low pressure to answer questions regarding changing commission structures.
