The contract I am on is very relaxed and laid back

Cons

The company (RIVA) leaves you with a lot of unanswered questions. Some things feel shady especially with benefits and HR stuff. New staff doesn't seem to know much. Its a C company to work for as a contractor

If you are on contract don't expect to be taken care of when your contract ends. This is not anything abnormal in the industry

I had a job. My co-workers were enjoyable.

Cons

Benefits are expensive compared to other contracting companies in the area. They bid low which results in low salaries. People at corporate don’t know what they are in charge of so (probably due to such high turnover) when you email a question they pass you around. The “mandatory fun” is ridiculous; there’s no need for me to attend a happy hour every other week.
