Pros

- The company has a strong commitment to excellence and leading the industry. - Excellent leadership from ALL departments (Strategy Managers, Team Leads, Director, SEO, CSE, Sales, Marketing, Development, Engineering, Finance, HR, CEO, Events). - Good education systems in place. Learning from peers is valued and made available. - Lots of autonomy granted, but a lot of responsibility expected. - The entire staff is competent, driven and trustworthy (the interview process is fairly rigid, but it helps us get the right people on board for the long run). - Company offers good compensation and generous benefits. - There's a fun company culture both in and out of the office (work hard, play hard).

Cons

- Some company-wide team structure limits were occasionally a major source of frustration from top performers, whose teams had to be capped when they were close to max client capacity (even though they were fully capable of managing a larger team). - Family-oriented benefits are/were lacking, which is likely a product of a relatively young work force without kids. It's caused a few great people to seek other options, unfortunately. I know this has been discussed at the top and efforts have been made to improve this, so this may change in the future. - High pressure to ever-outperform the previous month, which can add stress to an otherwise enjoyable job, but it's good for us and the clients.

Pros

Through the selective interview process, you are placed on a team of peers who work well with you. Each team works very cohesively and it makes for a very comfortable and friendly work environment. The company prides itself on the professional environment and providing quick, top notch service for its clients. You receive very competitive pay and benefits. Modern office with a fully stocked kitchen for employee enjoyment. Plus a game room too!

Cons

There is a very steep learning curve, and work is very fast paced. If you're up to the challenge, then have no worries. Work hours can run long, not the best work-life balance, but if you enjoy the job, you won't notice it. You may have to deal with unhappy clients, or put in extra time for problems that pop-up and need to be addressed quickly.

Pros

The best way to describe ROI is that it has a great atmosphere and office culture. Everyone in the office, no matter what their position, seems to genuinely enjoy their work and are excited about their jobs and the new challenges that come with it each day. Day-to-day work involves a nice balance between client interaction, team brainstorming, companywide education, and autonomous work. You have guidance and feedback from supervisors but you also have the ability to prioritize and structure your day based on your own personal workflow. As mentioned previously, there are many nice office perks--stocked kitchen, team celebrations, companywide lunch, etc--that promote taking breaks as well as getting to know your team members and coworkers. The traditional perks--compensation, benefits, overtime, etc--also can't be beat. When you combine that with the fact that you're doing work that has an impact, you have a great position. In my time working here I have seen many people get promoted to various positions so there is definitely opportunity for growth and recognition for those who excel.

Cons

The pros drive the cons in this position. With challenging daily work that truly makes a difference, comes a constant pressure to outperform that makes it hard to turn off at the end of the day. With the dedicated personalities that embody the workforce at ROI, it is not surprising to feel this way! The fact that there is always more that you can be doing is exciting but can also be daunting if you don't keep a good work life balance.
