gaining vast experience and knowledge Meeting and networking with great people

Cons

some leads do not have the life experience to lead and or the people skills needed dealing with a mature group. Hard to get ahold of at times.(management) and end up at times with no response Can be frustrating.

Pros

I enjoy my assignment and pay, but there are drawbacks. The person assigned as our team lead is in way over his head. He has no leadership skills, lacks knowledge of the work, and seems insecure in himself.

Cons

Be advised that no matter what Maetrics tells you when you are recruited, it is only a temporary position subject to the needs of the client. They told me my position was at least a 1 yr contract, but it ended after 3 months when the client decided to scale back. Many consultants were removed from the project and Maetrics did not have new assignments for them. I regret leaving my regular permanent job. THERE IS NO JOB STABILITY WITH MAETRICS. Once the client no longer needs your services, Maetrics will immediately drop you as an employee and you will be on your own after that.

Environment allows for strong teamwork, but also for people to be individuals. Great environment for tenured works and people with families. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

People that are not successful tend to stay on a little too long.
