      Good place to work but used to be better

      Pros

      Rackspace still has a great group of people to work with. It's still a fun place to work.

      Cons

      Things have changed in a bad way. It doesn't seem like senor leadership takes as much interest in Rackers anymore. This is sad to see since I used to want to stay at Rackspace forever. Now, I'm considering other options for (much) higher pay.

      A lot of great people to work with. Fun environment. chance to learn a lot. great work life balance

      Pros

      Most people there are great to work with. There is not a feeling of pressure (except in the Cloud segment). The company pays well too.

      Cons

      Employees do not have a clear career path. People get promoted out of luck or popularity. There are certain leaders that should not even be working there because they are not smart, are dishonest and selfish. It is hard to get promoted when middle management doesn't pass on what the CEO wants to do.
