Pros

None since the Apollo acquisition.

Cons

For s company of this size, extremely siloed. No information dissemination even when directly affecting a specific team. “Good Ole Boy” Network at play. New regime hiring management, director level resources not qualified for the positions. Too many outside executive level resources hired with no expertise in terms of running a managed services organization. Managers less than forthright. Lack of integrity. Not the company I was a part of when I was hired pre acquisition.

Pros

.25 vending machines. Clean organized work environment generous time off program. 180 hours of pto for first year employees. Easily accessible location. Talented co-workers.

Cons

Management is horrendous. Over bearing and strict for no apparent reason. Corporate culture is non existent under current management. Rackspace as a company encourages and grows their talent. At this location management made their own rules that didn’t reflect the company’s morals or standards. Management also had no clue how or what they were doing.

Pros

At hire it's about 4 weeks PTO each year. With increases at 3, 5 and I believe 7 year mark. Average pay bands Depending on what team- you have the ability to some times work from home

Cons

Backfilling positions doesn't seem to happen as the buyout to go private has the company in a tight spot. Running lean is their game and the big amount of time off is spent trying not to burn out. All about metrics and how you stack up against teammates I see some teams have it much easier than others due to having the proper staffing. It really depends on your manager and whether or not your team is staffed to have a healthy career here. Some major changes to work life balance without your input.
