Pros

There is a lot of work and not enough employees, so there's a lot of room to learn and grow. Supervisors are ready to listen and help with problems (minor or major) and provide advise.

Cons

Although we have many offices around the world, but each office works as a mini-office - there is a complete lack of unity and communication. There is a serious lack of motivation among the staff and culture within the company. Because there is a lot of work and not enough employees, the life-work balance isn't there (the typical "9-5" days are extremely rare).

Pros

Large company that has good grasp on the (dying) recruitment industry. Relaxed atmosphere within all offices in US. Loved all my clients. Felt comfortable speaking with management on any issue or opportunity.

Cons

TMP tries to be an actual agency (ask someone who TMP is), but continues to change direction in their core capabilities and dilutes the idea of them being an actual agency. Now they are preaching 'digital solutions' to clients and confusing staff and creative respectively...as well as clients. Leadership does not have long term vision and continues to downplay financial issues that plague their industry and poorly developed products. Too much of a sales shift internally from years ago - teams being asked to sell regardless of really identifying client needs (that was really bothersome). There are some smart people who work there, but behind doors they are all looking to get out and move on to better organization that have sharp leadership and a stable environment. Too many layoffs - especially when leadership continues to drink the Cool-Aid and proclaim "we are in a good spot now and cut as much as we can cut." Inconsistent creative quality and sometimes horrific mistakes that are caught in time - and sometimes not caught and sent to client for implementation. Over inflated pricing on estimates and over-ballooning of hours applied by creative to projects at times.
