Amazing Company

Pros

I am very fortunate to work for a company as great as Radio Flyer. Some of the best things about Radio Flyer are the leadership, positive culture, transparency, and benefits. Our CWO, Robert Pasin, has lead this company to great successes and built a well-respected Senior Management team. Flyers, as employees are called, are kept informed of everything the business is doing. We recently just heard that we are modifying our benefits package to extend sick time and parental leave, which was VERY generous and well-received by all. Radio Flyer also offers professional development courses in our WagonU program. Why want to work anywhere else??

Cons

Since we are such a small company, I wear many hats and can get pulled in different directions, making prioritization difficult at times.

Pros

The collaboration among teams truly shows in the work we produce. Everyone is eager to help each other out. From top to bottom there is transparency in our goals to ensure everyone is on the path to success

Cons

As a smaller company, sometimes timelines can be short or overwhelming. But as a small company, you get to wear many hats and rely on the help from your coworkers.

Great Place to Work, long hours

Pros

The company prioritizes employee growth, creating an enjoyable workplace, and innovation. Pay is relatively competitive for a small company. People who work here are dedicated, intelligent, and make work fun.

Cons

Work load is uneven across departments, resulting in a work life imbalance for high achievers. In some departments there is an undercurrent of unproductive competition resulting in employees feeling like they need to stay late or come in early to accommodate and show face in the office. Being in the office 10 hours seems to be a priority over actual work completed. Flex hours exist but sometimes at the expense of some career advancement down the road.

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback. Collaboration is vital to our success and results are valued over and above all -- we don't believe in face time, we believe in results. We also value work-life balance, and encourage Flyers to take advantage of flex time, summer hours, and various PTO opportunities. All Flyers receive tools and training to understand how to own their career development, and are able to harness these benefits to create a unique and individualized balance to maximize their satisfaction and productivity and advancement opportunities. Thanks, Robert
