      Pros

      Excellent Benefits, Overtime, holiday pay, 401k with match, part of schnitzer steele= discounts for lots of companies and services.

      Cons

      Drama, chauvinistic minded people get promoted and good managers get retaliated against. Basically it who you know and are popular with that gets you ahead in this company, not so much your work ethic or by following policies. Garbage store managers in area and regional director.

      Pros

      This company offered flexible hours and good pay. Thee were a lot of really great people working there and we made some good friends. The yard was close to our apartment and Tacoma is a great little town on the Puget Sound.

      Cons

      There was always some uncertainty in the job responsibilities and it was often difficult to figure out what the executive branch really wanted. Frequent layoffs and downsizing, along with remote management (eat coast) made for a lot of stress.
