      Pros

      name and brand of hotel is well known (which is also what they seem to use to lure talents and milk them till they leave since their brand name seems to draw them endless talents)

      Cons

      everyone is replacable they will much rather replace you then offer any sort of real growth from supervisory level upwards even now the hotel is running on a ghost crew made up of overworked employees and part timers just to survive. this would not happen if they took care of their talents properly, but the opportunities in this company is a joke

      Central location Plenty employee benefits Illusion of splendor on your cv as all boomers and oldies remain living in the past

      So many things wrong with the company. Overworked, underpaid. The usual capitalistic hotel. Work system and equipment almost like age of the hotel - only building was refurbished, the people did not. Probably the worst staff canteen (food and ambience) in a 5* hotel. Staff amenities were definitely afterthought Supervisor titled renamed to "executive" to escape local employment regulations regarding split shift and working hours. Employee benefits and activities? You don't have time to enjoy or take part due to operation hours. IT dept inefficient; daily IT issues unsolved. Year 2023 but IT is not considered one of the most important tool to improve work Senior mgmt makes all the rules and action plans for ground staff to follow through. Not an issue in itself, but no consideration of ground staff at all. Unfair treatment of various depts, pushing certain restaurants to run harder, especially over festive period with no benefits or rewards at all. The team falling sick regularly due to working hours and lack of proper rest on off days or hydration during shift. Some guests treating service staff like 19th century servants.

      Pros

      The female housekeeping director is very rude and likes to shout to her staff and even to other department staff. This old Chinese woman lacks professionalism! Only faking nice towards other department head. If you have communication breakdown with other department head, don't have to vent it on the department staff! May karma hit you and all your 7 family generation hard you director of housekeeping !
