      Lots of work

      Pros

      Most of the field supervisor team are great guys. They offer a good 401k and profit sharing after a year. You can kind of pick and choose how much you want to work and how far you're willing to travel. Starting pay is good.

      Cons

      Not much room to move up. They don't promote many from within the company unless you have a college degree or brown nose. Don't expect a raise ever... You can pick and choose how much you want to work but on the bad side if you're not willing to take every job and bend over backwards they won't work you during slow season. There is a slow season and a lot of traveling. You're just a number.

      RWIC Review

      Pros

      RailPros is a great company to work for if you have 3+ years of previous railroad experience. They genuinely care about their employees and have a very competitive pay rate. RailPros provides company training on tablets, field exercises, and all the necessary requirements to become a successful RWIC.

      Cons

      There is a lot of traveling involved. Typically will be away from home for 4 - 6 weeks at a time.
