Pros

Focus on career paths and development. Managers are empowered to ensure that employees know what their career path looks like and how to work towards it. Amazing bonus structure, one of the best I've ever had. Includes stock options and salary based annual bonuses. Fun work environment, the SLC office has a pretty great culture, includes a Wednesday get together with food and drinks during work hours(including adult, if that's your thing, if not also cool) Most positions have the option for travel, and we have offices around the world for you to work out of. I've seen multiple people go on weeks long trips where they work out of a different office for a while, to extend the length of their trips to other countries. Some employees have even relocated to those other offices, with the company supporting their immigration. The Maternity/Paternity policy. Every new parent gets 3 months paid leave, which is a huge amount in the US.

Cons

Can be a high stress environment, functions a little more traditionally than other tech companies in the area. This is likely due to being part of a huge Japanese corporation, so it comes with benefits that generally offset it. Some recent executive hires are a clear work in progress, learning to not be too heavy handed. Some progress seems to be being made, but a number of employees still have a bad taste in their mouths from initial interactions. We could really use more conference rooms in the Salt Lake offices. There are times of day where it is a little painful to schedule a meeting because the rooms are generally taken.
