Pros

Working with Ralph directly. Gaining valuable design experience. Working with great minds and not so great minds......and being able to know the difference. The discounts. The cache.

Cons

The Emperor has no clothes! Sycophants making obscene salaries convincing each other that they all look great even while their AARP benefits are kicking in. Horrible cult of denial and truly wicked people who have been in power from the very beginning.

Pros

Met some great hard working people. Workers who love the brand and care about it's future. And despite many obstacles they still manage to move mountains.

Cons

Company is sooo top heavy. RL hires people who do absolutely nothing at the company but collect a paycheck. And he empowers coke heads to run his most favorite parts of the business like the in-house stylists. The corporate culture promotes back stabbing, ganging up on each other, not taking responsibility for ones work, bullying and fear. An in-house worker survey revealed wide spread dissatisfaction the the shock if the executive team! This is so telling of what the corporate culture is like. Also, their salaries are a joke!

Pros

Discount is 50% but never used because the clothing is not that great. 50% at Club Monaco, much better. Benefits were good, but then they switched to the WORST health care plan in existence. Job security.

Cons

Very unorganized, no formal training. I was trained by someone who had only started a few months before me. High expectations. They expect you to know everything even if you havent been taught something. No one really knows what they are doing there. You ask someone a question and they look back at you with a blank stare. GIRLS ARE VERY CLIQUEY, very high school. VERY LOW PAY for associates. VP and Sr Directors will barely look at you in the eyes and forget your name constantly even though youve worked there for years. *BEWARE OF CHILDRENSWEAR* very high turnover rate. Few people last more than a few months, and the ones that stay work until 2 am. NO ROOM for growth unless you are willing to give up your life. Oh and bed bugs.
