Pros

The office building and accomodations were very nice. The benefits were phenominal and the base salary was good. I was able to meet great talent and learn a lot from those candidates.

Cons

There was absolutely no opportunity for growth and the turnover was extremely high. That particular office was set up to only allow one recruiter on the temp side to be successful. That recruiter was not only my competitor, but my manager. The company gave him zero incentive for me to do well, but ironically he had all of the control over my success. The office methodology was very transactional and my fellow associates lacked respect for one another. There were three offices within a fifteen mile radius and rather than going after new clients and candidates, an enormous amount of time was wasted on inter-company arguments about client and candidate ownership.

Pros

Lots! I have been very encouraged by all my assignments. I have the opportunity to work varied job opportunities. I highly recommend Randstad.

Cons

There are no downsides to working a temp job. As long as you know that you need to be flexible, this is a great way to get your foot in the door in a company.

Pros

Salary is good, but most areas will have a hard time hitting bonus. Training is good. The chocolates are good.

Cons

Disorganized. Sales people should spend close to 100% doing sales...not admin $10/hr work. They split up your role. 50% sales, 50% recruiting. That doesn't include all the time wasted with choppy tech, annoying admin work because most offices don't have admin support and "talent" issues. They use the term "talent" to refer to the candidates they hire to place with their clients. Most people they hire each week won't get a job, they are being used as a lead source so their sales people can learn who else is using staffing agencies. As a sales person you will be frustrated by the lack of focus on sales and most people quit after 6 months because they don't like feeling like they are in preschool. Yes, my grammar and typing looks like I am in preschool but I am typing this after everything was originally erased so I am trying to sum it all up.
