Management is a colossal failure at knowing how to use talent. At all levels of mgmt, they are inept at developing people and unwilling to address problem people who are often technical leads themselves. If you can keep your head down and stay out of the fray you’re fine. But if you have ideas for improvement and you haven’t been accepted into the winners circle, then you’re a threat to them and they will beat you down.

Very political. Hard to get promotions. High performers are not well rewarded. Massive employee turnover. Company is very focused on profitability (margins) and uncaring about their people.
