The post merger RMD finance organization is a mess. There’s a lot of change happening and all of it is being poorly managed by leadership. Analysts are overworked due to high turnover and lack of support. This organization always had under staffing issues due to high turnover but it’s worse now. New analysts come in and are quickly overwhelmed by the work load and trying to learn it all on their own since training isn’t great. Leadership doesn’t appreciate their analysts. Promotions are hard to come by and it’s been the same leadership team for a while, all people who think the same way, not progressive or adaptive to change, and constantly over promising analysts that they listen and things will get better then underdelivering on those promises. It’s the blind leading the blind and it makes for an inconsistent and adverse work environment.
