Pros

Easy paycheck Off Friday 9/80 They pay for your Masters

Cons

Racism in upper and lower management. Favoritism everywhere. Pretty much every “ism” you can think of shows up here. You’ll find inappropriate, condescending Tech Leads and Senior staff. A mob mentality dominates the culture. Many employees are in their 30s and 40s but display the emotional maturity and decision-making of middle schoolers. Cliques, gossip, incompetence, and backstabbing are part of daily life. Senior engineers are unmotivated, uninterested in mentorship, and offer no real support for career growth. Most were promoted through tenure, not talent. If you’re young, reasonably competent, and willing to work hard, avoid this place at all costs. The grind of LeetCode would have been worth it. I should have focused on that earlier rather than coasting here. Thankfully, I learned and leetcoded like crazy, I moved on to a new role, and I’m earning significantly more now. Overall, this workplace can derail your career and take a toll on your mental and physical well-being. Avoid it if you value your future.

Pros

- A paycheck, but not a stable or good one. - Get raytheon on your resume then use it to get a real job.

Cons

- I has here for under a year and saw 3 mass layoffs. One almost got me. - Budget cuts. I have seen managers need to pay for lunches out-of-pocket for everyone because Raytheon cut the budget (In a program generating billions). - I have seen them hire people with software engineer written in offer letter, then put them in a different position. (One guy was a janitor for a few weeks(hired a SW engineer). - They are making people return to office even though they didn't have enough desks to seat everyone in the first place. - If this is your first job just understand that more than likely you will only be learning bad practices here.

Pros

It's a job, at least it's nothing. Teams are cool.

Cons

Bonuses are mediocre, stock options are non-existant, career opportunities are favored towards nepotism. Despite increases in funding and contracts, upper management gains all the profit and the peasant employees are left to scrounge for money. Quick turnover like a revolving door with people leaving no notice.
