Pros

Technology provided. Remote work opportunities. My team was very supportive, and our small size allowed for deeper connections.

Cons

Could offer more transparency. Team size varies by location, so you could have to take on a lot more responsibility. Can be a pro and a con.

Pros

- passionate volunteers - noble mission - committed on-site (school-based) staff - significant donor base - opportunities to volunteer at a site

Cons

- very high turnover, leading to low morale - culture of distrust and gossip - poor leadership - no opportunities for advancement - top-heavy expenses (many execs, not enough worker bees) - amateur managers - systems, infrastructure, and training are lacking - overworked, stressed development team - lack of mentorship/learning opportunities
