Pros

The product is fantastic and it's been incredible to see it's impact in real time. I met a lot of really smart, passionate people at Recorded Future. They have a lot of great talent.

Cons

I got bait and switched about remote versus in-office and my manager was completely unreceptive to my struggle. I would've never applied or interviewed had it not actually been remote. I wanted to be remote for health reasons and it was completely ignored. "We have no PTO policy, take it as you need it!" -- False. This is totally up to manager discretion, and I was repeatedly denied PTO based on "black out periods". I asked for specific dates and was given a copy-and-paste response about what blackout periods are and was told to speak to the CFO if I had any questions.

Recorded Future is a great place to work with a clear sense of purpose and how my role helps the company reach these goals. Frequent surveys allow us to submit our honest feedback anonymously and we usually see quick improvements afterward.

Cons

Culture varies by manager. Some managers are inexperienced and micromanage. Others are excellent.
