Pros

Some of the individual contributors are talented and passionate. The product itself is respected in the threat intelligence space, and there’s potential for meaningful impact if the culture were to change.

Cons

The work environment is highly toxic, starting with the executive team and trickling down through senior management — particularly in the marketing department. Leadership frequently operates through fear, micromanagement, and favoritism rather than competence or collaboration. Constructive feedback is dismissed, and morale suffers under poor communication and a lack of strategic direction. The head of marketing fosters a hostile atmosphere and is known for demeaning and dismissive behavior, which creates an unhealthy and unproductive team dynamic. Turnover is high, and psychological safety is non-existent.

Cons

I have never encountered a company where internal processes seem to hinder progress as much as they do here. There appears to be a lack of accountability across departments, and many processes feel as if they were set up to fail from the beginning. Unfortunately, the product is no longer leading the market, and many of the most talented employees are choosing to leave. Meanwhile, leadership seems focused more on meeting retention goals tied to the acquisition, rather than addressing the underlying issues. Unless significant changes are made, it’s difficult to see a promising future for this company.
