Pros

- Flexible work hours, choose when to work - Other SBMs are nice people and good to work with - Opportunity to work at interesting events - Good job for the right people

Cons

- Lack of training. I received one and a half days of training for a job that is very independent, 95% of the time you are working alone. - It seems like most of the work you do is scrutinised with very little praise for doing anything good. - When your uni workload is heavy (e.g. deadlines/exams approaching) you are still expected to hit your hours. - Potentially damaging image/reputation whilst at university as some of the hacks and brand activations can be embarrassing to perform
