Pros

Trust, authonomy and accountability is what you can expect in this position. Tons of work to do, but very rewarding. It's a great brand, a great team and I feel that this position helps you grow like no other. Being in charge of a big team, developing small and medium size brand activations constantly, being part of THE coolest events... honestly it's more a lifestyle than a job. I absolutely loved it.

Cons

First of all, it's that cool that you don't even notice you're working at times, and this can interfere quite a lot with your personal life. A lot of travels and work during weekends (good for youngsters that adore that). Budgets are often very reduced, and it makes marketing initiatives difficult to get through the year. So you work nonstop for 2-3 months in a business plan for next year that ultimately gets approved (after weeks and weeks of come-and-go feedback and changes), and at the end of the day, a lot of the initiatives had to be cut due to "budget cuts". Very exhausting really. Also, I was very lucky to have a great compensation, but I know for sure most of my co-workers weren't being paid well, while still doing a great job. Some of them got picked up by other companies that were willing to compensate them way better.

Cool but Tough

Pros

Working with cool people who do not take themselves too seriously in a chill work space (usually office but occasionally outdoor for entertaining events).

Cons

Too much of a work load for each person (too many projects, much less head-count) and almost nothing is ever good enough.
