Pros

Red Hat is a fantastic place to work.During the pandemic, Red Hat implemented a number of support options, gave everyone a "Recharge Day" once per quarter, and from the start we have been assured that our liveliohoods and home life takes priority. This is really reassuring, and is consistent with Red Hat's ethics and underlying values. There are endless opportunities to grow within the company, with every associate having a people manager to help us achieve our goals. We are not told what we should do too often, but they try their best to facilitate our needs and desires. The fact that the projects we deliver are open source is really satisfying also.

Cons

Lots of projects never make it to a customer, which can be disheartening. There are missed opportunities which do not have get the backing of Red Hat.
