Pros

Good coffee in the coffee shop for $1 Easy to take time off- but this is based on your team and manager. Could be bad. You'll need both of the above to maintain mental health. You'll learn a years worth of industry exp in 4 months. Your experience is tied to what vertical youre on.. which can change at any time due to frequent moves or reorgs. Don't get comfortable.

Cons

Very low wages for industry, high stress and workload. Excessive meetings, lot of micromanaging. Lots of resulting turnover. (Hot tip: Don't give your max effort up front cuz you'll get taken advantage of quickly.) Hybrid for now but not surprised if they flip this year and have non-engineers & designers go back full time. They like to move employees to other roles w/o much consent (feels very bait and switchy) that are more difficult or even considered a promotion but with no comp adjustment. And asking about it or seeming anything less than grateful gets awkward.
