Pros

A remote job that paid me to work there. There were a few nice people that I met.

Cons

The worst and most toxic company I’ve ever worked for. If you like boundaries and are used to a certain level of professionalism, you will be miserable here. There were too many cringey team building exercise type of meetings. And informal/overly casual “team meetings” where people shared entirely too much personal information. Had an instance of a coworker mocking a certain religion. Extremely unprofessional. If you didn’t attend the meetings, it could reflect poorly on your “performance review” for not being a ‘team player’. Many of the people have little to no experience working anywhere else, so they aren’t aware that certain behaviors aren’t the norm. No real awareness of how communication and professionalism actually work. They either have a high tolerance for extreme dysfunction or have become numb to it. They also assume everyone has the same views politically. I didn’t need a “check-in” from my manager about the 2025 election. Like I said, they have no boundaries between personal/professional. I can’t even list everything. But it definitely felt like a step down for me. I had to move on quickly. I’ve worked for several tech companies and I’ve never experienced anything like this. And can confirm pay is very low.

Pros

Really nice office setting in the middle of nowhere because the owner received a tax credit from the SC Govt. (He also owns the properties around the campus to profit off the employees who are required to relocate and live close by.)

Cons

Every con that you see on every other “bad” review is true.

Pros

The people on my direct team. The pay at the beginning is also nice, but its a battle to get any level of pay adjustment beyond that.

Cons

Terrible decisions by upper management result in the lower-level employees being stretched to the bone. As a manager, I sat in on several calibrations for promotions. I saw and heard several outwardly sexist situations where men got promotions while women were questioned incessantly about why they deserved to be promoted. Constantly asking how they can improve, but no action. Unreasonable expectations about work-life balance. After people quit or additional responsibilities are added, there's no support to help with an additional load. This resulted in almost everyone on my team quitting/burning out.
