Pros

- Ric is truly a great CEO. He is a transparent guy with a solid moral compass. He is a lifelong learner, and that has garnered him much success. - A lot of the people there are great to work with and get to know - Great opportunity for those getting into programming - Excellent hardware will be provided to those who ask - Beautiful campus, I enjoyed taking walks and working on the many balconies - Low cost of living in / around Fort Mill, SC - Company trip was a nice opportunity to see Cancun

Cons

- The people in leadership positions in the technology department have big egos, a lack of general respect, and not a lot of technical understanding. - Low pay for the industry, even considering the cost of living. - No process to speak of - not even pull requests or code reviews. Lack of planning or process leads to rewriting the same project 5 or more times for all product teams. - (along with the above) No real project owners/managers, QA, scrum masters

Pros

$$$ and the possibility to earn more $$$. Fun Days with good hard working peers. Learning about sales and the sales process. Working a proven formula and seeing the results. Amenities at work.

Cons

Sales by hook or by crook mentality disguised as the sales process at times. Sales staff are encouraged to over or under state to get the Sale! Ethics are word not behavior driven, Managers are spin doctors who protect themselves for a chance to move up. Metrics are the ultimate goal. You have to provide metrics to prove you are worthy of development. No metrics, No development a dive into obscurity and loss of job security. If have a conscience about what you sell and how you sell it, you will be disillusioned with the process and the reality of what;s expected of you.

Pros

If you're fresh out of college, this a great company to work for to gain experience and then leave.

Cons

If you are anywhere within the middle of your career, only come here if you're ready to feel less than at every single review because leadership limits the amount of good reviews managers can give out to save money (something I have seen discussed firsthand). Additionally, they claim there are amazing opportunities for growth, but what they really mean is free labor until you are burnt out and like I said before, you don't ever get paid for it or acknowledged during reviews.. only "keep doing what you're doing." Leaders are constantly changing goals and what they want, which also is a detriment to your goals. Pay raises are based on performance only, which wouldn't be a problem if they actually acknowledged your performance. Additionally, they changed all insurance coverage this past year, and what used to be amazing coverage is now the worst in my state. So bad that I need to pay out of pocket for all of my doctors. DEI is a joke. They pretended to care more during covid and slowly but surely minimized it all and allow mediocre white men who contribute only jargon to conversations to be managers and hold associates back from career growth
