Good jobs, bad management

Pros

It's a fast-paced environment and the company keeps up with the latest technology. The job content is interesting. The CEO wants to be with it and the company puts on some good shows.

Cons

There's a certain dissonance when the company dubs itself as an advertising and PR company that derives its revenue from affiliate marketing and then touts its editorial integrity. Management is more geared to its goal of generating short-term revenue and pays lip service to editorial integrity that will only pay off in the long term. This has taken a toll on overall editorial morale. Though the company makes a lot of fuss about its annual reviews, assessments are subjective as is scope for advancement. There's no clear direction for the company and it's difficult to trust your co-workers.
