Pros

The company has a strong focus on employee well-being, and that is reflected in the benefits, building, office perks, and company events. Everyone is nice and the open and transparent culture is truly one of a kind. Flexible work hours and occasional work from home also helps. If you travel, they will assure everything is taken care for and there is no burden for you. The brand is strong in the area.

Cons

The database market is old-fashioned and limited, not a very exciting market to work for. The company is risk-averse and not very ambitious, which dims down long-term perspectives. No career plan.

Pros

As internships in the software industry go, this was a good experience. I received support when needed and was able to work independently when convenient too.

Cons

The commute is a little difficult, but that's a personal choice. My only criticism would be that Redgate doesn't seem to do a great deal for one's career prospects, and although personal development seems to be emphasized, I don't think this initiative goes far enough.
