Pros

Learning opportunities - company invests money and time into continuous improvement of their employees. There is a "10% time" thing, which allows you to spend 10% of the week's working hours for anything you seem important - learning, doing side projects, reading or contributing to the internal guilds. Free canteen - breakfasts and lunches included with many options to choose from. Easygoing and relaxed culture.

Cons

Some of the products were developed a long time ago, so expect to deal with legacy codebases.

Pros

- The people! It's a company full of bright, talented, passionate people who despite their brilliance do not have egos, and are always helpful, friendly, and most importantantly, open to the thoughts and ideas of others. People really go out of their way to help others to succeed. - A unique company culture that encourages honesty and transparency. They may not always get it right, and they don't pretend to. The company is human. - The learning environment. Again, this mostly comes down to the people who are generally always eager to learn and to share that knowledge with others. Plus great managers and a people team who genuinely care about getting the best from people. With the right commitment and approach, you'll not only have the opportunity to develop and grow your career, but to grow yourself as a person too. - The office environment and perks. Although the office is situated on the Business Park, the building itself is very bright and the office space open, spacious and colourful. The company really goes out of its way to make people feel comfortable at work. The perks are great - lots of team outings, an amazing free breakfast and lunch, and a kitchen area that makes you feel at home with coffee machines and a whole array of tea selections! - What sounds like a very exciting year ahead!

Cons

- Hard place to leave! - Had a tough year, but seem to be coming out the other side. Leadership seem clearer on where they're going, giving people the time and opportunity to show what they can really do. - Need more diversity. Not through lack of trying, but needs more people with differing viewpoints and backgrounds to push the boundaries. - Could be seen to be more experimental with with remote/home/flex-working.

Pros

Outstanding place to work - great teams of bright, lively and engaged employees, with the encouragement and support to do great work and also try new ideas. Management is very open to hearing opinions on strategy and decisions throughout the business - Redgate aims to have a flat structure and does practise it in the main. Everyone is strongly encouraged to have their say and give honest feedback. Lots of perks, from the amazing SQL Servery (canteen) to days out with your team.

Cons

None - I would be delighted to be part of Redgate again in the future.
