I agree with the favoritism review

Pros

I'll have to get back to you on the pros of this job...right now all I can think of is .....you get a paycheck.

Cons

I don't know what store wrote the favoritism review but I agree with it. I don't have a female manager that behaves that way so I know I work at a different store. Simply put, if you are a suck - up, and want to in the Redner clique this job will be great. If you are in the management favorite pets category then you can do no wrong and probably don't do much of anything to do wrong. I have seen some incredibly poor management at the store and corporate level. Favoritism has even District Managers turning a blind eye to the store pets. It's laughable, and they (manager) can't figure out why people don't work hard why the attitude in the building sucks.

Pros

As long as you do your job you shouldn't have any problem fitting in with this company, most of the managers I have worked with are very friendly and realize life happens.

Cons

There are sometime false advancement opportunities, some of the supervisors like to tell you that you will advance in a short period of time and then when that time comes they tell you that you didn't do what was needed to advance, but never told you what you were doing right or wrong.

Pros

I had usually flexible hours, raise after a year, good co-workers, I learned a lot about different departments. I experienced different challenges and experiences depending on what department I worked. They are willing to work with you if you're willing to work for them. I had great bosses.

Cons

There was high stress during holiday seasons. Store Management can change at the drop of a hat. People can be transferred to other stores with little notice.
