      Pros

      - Exciting mission and heritage - Some interesting technical ideas

      Cons

      - Top down, "heroic" engineering culture. Senior leadership silences good ideas in favor of their own, which are often...not great. Lots of referencing Boeing of all places as a model despite the well-known decline in engineering culture there. - Identity crisis...sometimes very "silicon valley" but sometimes very "old boys club," whichever it takes to whip people into line - Morale nonexistent. Ride high on general enthusiasm for space industry but they don't seem very concerned with trying to make the company inspiring to be part of. Private Equity culture sucks.

      Pros

      Good work life balance, front line managers are pretty good. Immediate co-workers are pretty smart... most of the time.

      Cons

      Dealing with the chaos of clashing cultures from newly acquired companies... the bureaucracy of big company upper management is all there. Supposedly, having become a larger company, we'd have more resources for things like infrastructure and dev tools. ... still waiting on those approvals... the requests are probably stuck somewhere with individuals in upper management that don't understand software development.
