Pros

One of the things I value most is that there are opportunities to contribute beyond your formal job description. If you show initiative and are willing to learn, there is room to get involved in different areas, collaborate with other teams, and take on responsibilities that help you grow professionally. That has made the experience feel rewarding and has allowed me to build visibility and expand my skill set. I also appreciate that extra effort and initiative are noticed. It feels like there is openness to new ideas and to people stepping up where they can add value.

Cons

I do not have major complaints so far. Some aspects of the work model may be less ideal depending on personal preference, especially for people who prioritize more remote flexibility or who are sensitive to schedule changes. In my case, those same things have also helped me grow, build stronger connections, and gain visibility, so I do not personally see them as major negatives.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. What you described is exactly the kind of culture we work hard to build every day: one where showing up with initiative and a willingness to learn opens real doors, not just in title, but in impact, visibility, and growth. Hearing that you've experienced that firsthand, and in less than a year, is something we don't take lightly. You also touched on something important with the work model. We know it isn't a perfect fit for everyone, and we appreciate your honesty. At the same time, knowing that those same aspects have helped you build connections and grow professionally is a reminder that there's real value in what we're doing — even where we still have room to improve. We hear your advice on flexibility, and it's something we continue to think about. The goal is always to find the right balance between what helps the business move forward and what allows our people to do their best work. Thank you again for being part of the team and for bringing that initiative every day. It doesn't go unnoticed — and that's exactly the point.

Pros

Redwood offers growth opportunities for everyone, regardless of role or location. The company truly values its people and makes employee well-being a priority. There are frequent events and activities throughout the year that support employees, clients, and community organizations, which creates a strong sense of purpose and belonging. Leadership is approachable, and the culture promotes collaboration, recognition, and professional development.

Cons

As a fast-growing company, things can move quickly and priorities may shift, which sometimes requires flexibility and adaptability from employees.
