Pros

Working at a movie theater wasn't difficult at all. Management was friendly and easy to work with. Beginning job (concessions and/or ticket sales) was a breeze, and the managers were always willing to reward a job well done.

Cons

Since this job was at a movie theater, there was really very little room to advance, get promoted, etc. The job was extremely repetative and often dull.

Pros

Awesome People. I liked pretty much everyone I worked with. Most Managers were easy to talk to. Easy Lots of downtime FREE movies. Unlimited.

Cons

The customers will talk down to you and treat you like the scum of the earth. The customers will yell at you about things you cannot control and that are in no way your fault. If you are trying to go to college and get an education, you might as well give up on any chance of a promotion, even if you deserve it. You may be told you are receiving a promotion and raise, and then not get it and then not find out why until a year later. Even though management needs to improve, a lot of the issues lie within Corporate. They dont know how to treat their employees well and they dont really care to. Bottom line is you are replacable. No matter how much your GM likes you and praises you, he himself really has very little part in decision making. If you want this job as a highschool after school job, I highly recommend it. It is a fun environment and some of my best memories took place here. But if you have responsibilities and bills, look somewhere else. I worked here for three and a half years and was told I was one of the best employees there and promises the moon and stars and when I quit, I had nothing more than the worst employee there.
