Pros

- Great Project Managers. The managers at RGi are great at managing customer expectations and communicating with the devs. - Free breakfast on Friday. - GREAT social environment and awesome culture. Seriously, these guys are fun. There's a decent anime, Magic the Gathering, D&D, and fantasy football culture. - Great work life balance. You're *almost* never expected to work more than 40 hours per week, and when you do go over you get paid for it (you may be inclined to take this for granted but trust me, while RGi respects your time the same cannot be said of many other CS companies). My project was especially chill. Oh also, every day most everyone in the company gathers in the conference room for a delightful group lunch. - HR is highly friendly and respectful. The CEO and upper management in general are super approachable and down to earth. - Free company trip once per year. We went to Arizona AND Fort Lauderdale most recently on company dime for 3 day trips. I think upper management really cares about their employees. - 401k match is great, 4% match on 6% contribution. - Benefits are good, possibly higher than average for tech companies in the area with 3 weeks of vacation, decent health insurance and other benefits.

Cons

- Raises are low, about equal to inflation. After working for 15 months and acting as a tech lead, I received an equivalent raise of 2.4% per year, about equal to inflation (I spoke with others at the company and they received similar raises). Management informed me this was standard (statistically across America CS receives about 3% annual). However in my original job hunt I had spoken to other CS companies in the area who told me up front they would put me on track for 5% yearly raises. I do not think raises here are competitive with many other CS companies in the area. - The complaints/harassment hotline redirects to the CEO's brother. I think that's a conflict of interest, although RGi is small and I suppose it makes sense if they don't have the funds for an independent hotline. - HR is not highly responsive to new potential hires. I've referred several friends to RGi and they both waited several weeks just to hear back about *when* they would hear back about an offer. - The breakfast that is provided free on Friday often consists of donuts, pastries, or other highly carby foods. ----- Overall though RGi is pretty great, I'd recommend it as a fantastic place to work if you're looking for a chill, low stress friendly environment.

Pros

* Employees are given ample freedom to solve problems * Everyone is treated like an adult * Zero workplace drama, environment is fun, friendly, and I look forward to being there * Good trade practices for software/systems development means you learn valuable skills for career growth * Many diverse learning opportunities, if desired * Fringe benefits available upon participation

Cons

No major negative concerns. Employee issues are handled quickly and discretely if needed. Great care is given to ensuring everyone understands why decisions are made and what the alternatives are/were. This has lead to a large amount of trust between all employees of the company.
