Pros

Unlimited PTO, insurance benefits, some bright people (that this company has been super lucky to have), free lunches

Cons

I'll repeat again - do not trust the C-suite. They will say anything you want to hear at the moment, but will easily disregard it afterwards. As mentioned in other reviews, they are real estate agents coupled with some people who have worked in IT before (with no track record of success). They have no idea how to build a successful SaaS product, but they would never admit it. They would rather burn everybody out to the ground so that people are too tired to think clearly and understand this. They've been lucky to have a few people who actually know what they are doing and it's been a pleasure working with those people. They understand what's going on though and they've been leaving the company - free lunches are not going to buy loyalty from knowledgeable people. If you are thinking about joining the company, make sure you understand what you are getting into. If you want to have a chance to play with some technologies (AWS, React, Node) and improve your practical experience while getting paid (before moving on to something better in a few months), then this is not a bad option. If you are looking for a meaningful professional growth with a solid product building experience that would give you real knowledge for future career growth, then stay as far away as possible.

Pros

Smart, collaborative team who push each other to excel. A great leadership team that has already demonstrated an ability to get things done where others failed. Incredible transparency and trust among the company. Lots of opportunity to contribute early and often.

Cons

Still a young company, so some processes aren't fully articulated / communicated immediately to new team members. A lot of information is still in the heads of some of our more experienced team members.

Pros

Learning opportunities Free lunch Good insurance "unlimited pto" (pro and con)

Cons

Expected to work nights and weekends regularly Expected to be available on Slack basically 24/7 Owners and "managers" play favorites hard - certain teams work 9-5 while others are expected to work 60+ hours with no overtime pay. "Unlimited pto" but no one takes time off Severe lack of communication and transparency - they fired a dozen people in a two day span and gave no reason to the fired employees or to the rest of the staff. Essentially no managers, which may sound appealing but actually leads to a bro-y group of "elites" who gossip and make huge decisions behind closed doors. Don't let the open office or the "stock options" fool you, employees are treated worst here than any other company I've worked for. Tons of work, low pay, no gratitude. All stick - no carrot
