Pros

Love it here! I've never worked at a friendlier place. People here are genuine and inclusive. The leaders I work with are problem solvers and make decisions with our values in mind. Great benefits, pay, and we just moved into a very nice, new office in Seattle (which offers free lunch and snacks!).

Cons

Since we are a growth company it's pretty fast-paced (which is also a good thing!) but if you prefer to stick to the same process and routine then this is not the place for you.

Pros

Phenomenal people to work with. They care and are passionate about the work that we do. They are (largely) bright and willing to collaborate. The work is also very interesting too. You can deal with remittance risk (one of the hardest to tackle since the money goes abroad), payments (getting money from the customer for large amounts), and disbursements (getting money halfway across the world).

Cons

Far too top-heavy. Has yet to determine whether it wants to be Product, Business, or Engineering led. Should be making far better investment decisions.

Pros

I've always wanted to work at a company that genuinely makes a positive impact—and that's exactly what Remitly does. It's the first place I've worked where there's a deep commitment to truly caring for customers, knowing that so many lives depend on our services. I feel valued and respected here. The compensation is excellent, and having stock in the company makes me even more invested in its success.

Cons

As Remitly continues to grow, there have definitely been some growing pains. One notable example has been the return-to-office (RTO) transition, which wasn’t handled as thoughtfully as many of us had hoped. Like at many companies, decisions from senior leadership can sometimes feel out of step with the day-to-day realities of employees. It's part of what comes with scaling quickly, and while it can be frustrating, I appreciate that the company is still learning and evolving.
