      Cons

      Remote.com is a very disappointing experience. Communication is inconsistent, expectations are unclear, and support for employees feels lacking. The company talks a lot about values and a people-first culture, but in practice it doesn’t match what it promises. I do not recommend it.

      Remote work, flexibility, and async collaboration are core to how we aim to operate, so it is good to hear those elements came through. At the same time, I am sorry that your overall experience felt disappointing, particularly around inconsistent communication, unclear expectations, and a lack of support. When our day-to-day does not match our stated values, that is a gap we need to take seriously.       Work life balance Excellent colleagues & culture Autonomy Creative freedom As a start up, things change fast, priorities shift constantly and so you have to adapt. For some people this might be a con, but for me it's a pro.

      Highs and lows - they will squeeze you dry

      Pros

      Really good individual contributors that believe in the product. Smart, kind, passionate people who care about this space.

      Cons

      They NEVER promote, barely any raises on a yearly basis. Expectations for the employees go up each year but pay stays the same. They rolled back unlimited PTO and work from anywhere policies. Generally, there has been a huge wave of people leaving from burn out. They push people hard and criticize them for “underperforming”
