- Lots of upper-to-middle management leaders without operational understanding to assess where the resource needs to be properly allocated. - There needs to be a better balance between steady state and "shiny ball syndrome" because new doesn't always equal great. Lack of governance and lack of focus around operational excellence is creating bottlenecks in various areas of the business. - Not quite async. While it comes with territory for certain jobs and responsibilities, pushing too hard on work-life balance creates burnouts especially when working across different time-zones.
